GSRP Program

Free PreK for All
4-year-old preschool classes
SPOTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded preschool Program for four-year-old children. The program is administered by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Great Start. Bloomin' Preschools participates in the PreK for ALL initiative through our GSRP program, bringing FREE PreK to Bloomin’. Enrollment is based on income guidelines set by the state of Michigan. Prioritization is based on residency, income, and other factors.
Classes are held at Bloomin' East (in Bloomfield Hills) and Bloomin' West (in West Bloomfield).
ALL GSRP classes run Monday-Friday from 8:30a-3:30p only.
Before/After is available; spaces are limited.
2026/27 GSRP Registration for new families opens on January 5.

2026/27 GSRP 4-year-olds REGISTRATION
Registration begins at the county level through Michigan Early Childhood Connect (MiECC). Please note this is a multi-step, multi-phase process coordinated between the county and our early childhood program.
Oakland Schools reviews all applications to determine eligibility and acceptance. It may take up to one month for you to be updated on your child's status.
